Capturing Vintage at Notting Hill

Greetings my lovelies! So last Thursday I visited Notting Hill for the first time, and I had a great experience having my first glimpse of West London. I’ve always wanted to visit West London, but since I’m an East London girl I’ve always found it hard to break that boundary… Boy am I kidding, I adore exploring! So (back on the subject) I actually went to Notting Hill to check out A.P.C’s sample sale, but sadly it didn’t match my standards since I expected more garments to be my size but I found literally nothing. That’s the major problem when it comes to sample sales, you either find something truly impeccable that is not your size or it has a defect, or you find a product that is ugly which is in your size.  Perhaps the chances of me purchasing a sample sale product are similar to me winning the lottery.

During my time there I made my way around Portobello Road which is very similar to Brick Lane. The area is well known for their landmark of colorful houses and the choice of vintage stores too. As I visited the area on a Thursday morning the vibe wasn’t bright whatsoever but I could imagine the hustle and bustle on a Sunday afternoon! Possibly the best time to visit vintage markets.

Outfit – Skirt (Forever21), Shoes (Zara), Black jumper (Uniqlo), Scarf (Moschino), Coat (Topshop).
