Glasgow

Hey everyone.
So yesterday inspired me so much. I visited an exhibition of Glasgow School Of Art. I never knew how high the standards were for the University until yesterday. Literally, everywhere I walked was filled with creative minds blown on a canvas or shown within a 3D structure. I was in so much awe. Unbelievable. I wasn't allowed to take pictures in the exhibition which was a total mood breaker. However, as a reminder of the work I went round collecting a few postcards or business cards of the students.
There was a piece of art which was so unique compared to the other students (Emma Reid). I approached the 3D piece thinking it was just two columns. Something plain and simple. Than I saw a hole which we had to look through. It took me a while to understand what was happening. I saw my own eye through the hole which I thought it was someone else's eye.
Then, there was another 3D piece which really got me thinking (Zhang Yuan - Open The Wormhole In Our Hearts). So many meanings and approaches you can take in.
There was a building in GSA which specified in Architecture. I was so amazed in the expertise the students have. Most of them produced mini models of their ideal/dream building. You had to be there to experience the feeling I'm feeling right now. It makes me want to do architecture! The mini models where to accurate and detailed. Students these days are so intelligent. The amount of creativity an individual holds is so stupid. Well I guess it takes determination so make progress.
I would love to visit more exhibition in the near future. Preferably something  related to fashion or textiles!
